Teaching Environment That Works

We built Pressure Zone Insight around one idea: good teaching happens when instructors have time to focus on their students rather than fighting administrative systems or dealing with unnecessary bureaucracy.

Most of our instructors spend their time preparing lessons, reviewing student work, and refining their approach based on what actually helps people learn.

  • Small class sizes mean you can give meaningful feedback instead of generic comments
  • No standardized scripts—you design your lessons based on what your students need
  • Peer collaboration with other instructors who know their subjects
  • Flexible scheduling that accommodates your actual work rhythm
  • Support team handles technical issues so you can focus on teaching

Viktor Thorsen

Senior Course Developer

"What I appreciate most is that nobody here pretends teaching is simple. We acknowledge it's difficult work that requires constant adjustment, and that honesty makes it easier to improve."

Viktor joined us in 2019 after spending years teaching research methodology at university level. He designs our source evaluation workshops and helps new instructors develop their feedback techniques. Outside of work, he reviews methodology sections of published papers and posts occasional critiques on academic forums.
